Jazz from Here and Now

Yuval Cohen and Yonatan Avishi have been walking together on the paths of music for almost four decades. Since they were hosted as a duet at the Eilat Jazz Festival when they were about 15 years old, the two collaborate in a variety of musical ensembles, and a world-wide activity, in addition to the rich solo career of each of them. Each of them has a unique and clear musical voice, both as a performer and as a composer.
In the duet concert, the two will play music composed in the last few months, which reflects well the trauma of October 7th, alongside other materials, including some surprises from the dawn of the history of instrumental jazz.
