The Young Israel Philharmonic Orchestra - Summer concerts

The young Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra of the Jerusalem Music Centre returns with two summer concerts under the baton of Paul Goodwin.

140 gifted musicians between the ages of 11 and 18 from all over the country, all of whom live and breathe classical music, will meet this summer for a course full of musical activities, culminating in two festive concerts.

The orchestra is preparing a wonderful concert program for you:

Paul Ben-Haim: Fanfare to Israel
Mozart: Symphony No. 39 in E flat major K. 543 543
Elgar: Variations on an Original Theme (Enigma), Op. 36

The JMC’s Young Strings Orchestra conducted by renowned violist Yuri Gandelsman will open Tel Aviv concert With a suite from The Fairy-Queen by Purcell.
