She studied with Maia Glezarova at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow and with Igor Oistrakh at the Brussels Conservatory. She has won the Tchaikovsky, Queen Elisabeth, and International Jean Sibelius Violin Competitions, and has performed with orchestras throughout the world. Recent career highlights include a Carnegie Hall debut, performances with pianist Martha Argerich, and an international tour performing Jean-Luc Fafchamps\u2019 Violin Concerto, which is dedicated to her. Samouil serves as Professor at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels and at the Higher School of Music of the Basque Country in San Sebasti\u00e1n, Spain. She is also Music Director of the New Chamber Orchestra, which she founded in San Sebasti\u00e1n in 2024.
