Quartet No. 15 in A minor is certainly one of the pinnacles of Beethoven’s work, and one of the highest peaks of the art of music in general. Its five movements are a fast-paced journey that is entirely a search for shades of expression that are hidden, deepened, and progress in the human spirit and its expansion in the universe. Beethoven titled the slow movementof the quartet “A holy song of thanksgiving, of a man who has recovered from an illness, to God.” It is fascinating and extremely moving to listen to Beethoven’s spirit, embodied in the sounds of the quartet, as it paints the sacred. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
