He took part in well-known festivals around the globe as both a soloist and<br \/>chamber musician. There, his partners were Boris Bloch, Boris Garlitsky, Leonid Gorokhov,<br \/>Natalia Gutman, Alexey Lubimov, Benedetto Lupo, Boris Pergamentschikov, and Stephen<br \/>Prutsman, among others. Dr. Bushkov appeared with orchestras conducted by Vladimir<br \/>Fedosseev, Erich Gerbel, Armin Jordan, Arnold Katz, Dmitry Kitayenko, Pavel Kogan, Yakov<br \/>Kreizberg, Jan Latham-Koenig, Sir Charles Mackerras, Pinchas Steinberg, Martin Turnovsky,<br \/>and many others. He has released several CDs on the \u201cHarmonia Mundi,\u201d \u201cValois-Auvidis,\u201d<br \/>and \u201cDiscover-Koch\u201d labels. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-692e6b8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"692e6b8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr. Bushkov was born in Moscow to a family of violinists and began studying his family<br \/>instrument at the age of five. Soon, he was accepted to the prestigious Central Music<br \/>School of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory where his teachers were Zinaida Guilels,<br \/>Leonid Kogan, and Viktor Tretiakov. He also had the privilege of studying chamber music<br \/>under the guidance of renowned musician Sergey Dizhur (former student of Heinrich<br \/>Neuhaus). Having graduated in 1986, he continued his studies at the Moscow Tchaikovsky<br \/>Conservatory in the class of his mother Zoria Shikhmurzajeva (a former student of the<br \/>legendary Abram Yampolsky) and Alexander Vinnitsky, receiving his doctorate in 1993.<br \/>    <\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a129834 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a129834\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2000, due to a development of focal dystonia in his left-hand, Dr. Bushkov stopped<br \/>playing and dedicated himself to conducting and violin pedagogy. The same year Dr. Bushkov was invited to join the String Department faculty and the Historic and Contemporary music performance department at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory,<br \/>where he continues to teach today. From 2019 to 2022 he was String Department Chair at the Moscow Central Music school of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory.<br \/>  <\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7abfa60 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7abfa60\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr. Bushkov\u2019s students continue winning international competitions and awards and can<br \/>be found in many leading Russian orchestras. He has given masterclasses worldwide,<br \/>including institutions such as Luxeuil Festival in France, Interlochen Arts Academy in<br \/>Michigan, USA, Cleveland Institute of Music, University of North Texas, Stellenbosch Music<br \/>Festival in South Africa, the National Center of Performing Arts NCPA in Mumbai, India, and<br \/>the Keshet Eilon Summer Master Course in Israel.<br \/><\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6bd2115 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6bd2115\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In summer 2022 he was invited to teach at the &#8220;Keshet Eilon&#8221; International Summer academy in Israel. Since 2023 Dr. Bushkov teaches regularly at the &#8220;Talent Music&#8221; Summer Masteclasses in Brescia, Italy.
