Jeremy Denk is one of America’s foremost pianists. Winner of a MacArthur ‘Genius’ Fellowship and the Avery Fisher Prize, Denk was also recently elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Denk has performed widely as soloist in the United States and Europe in such prestigious halls as the Carnegie Hall, the Wigmore Hall and the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, with renowned orchestras and conductors. He is known for his original and insightful writing on music and is working on a book which will be published by Macmillan UK and Random House US.
