Jerusalem Music Centre

We are proud to present to you details of the fourth season of the Jerusalem Music Centre's series "Seven at 7".
This year we offer you seven outstanding concerts, taking you on a journey through well-known musical territory, together with some surprising new areas. The series features music by Ravel, Mendelssohn, Schumann and Monteverdi, alongside works by Israeli composers including Michael Wolpe, Yehezkel Braun and members of the Banai family. We will hear artists such as pianist Omri Mor, who will take us on a journey from Debussy via Duke Ellington to his own works, and singer Keren Hadar together with the Tremolo Percussion Ensemble with an evening of folk music cycles.
Following their success last season, we will again hear cellists Hillel Zori and Zvi Plesser performing two more of the Bach suites for cello solo, arranged for two cellos.
Professor Ariel Hirschfeld will open each concert with a short lecture, and we continue the tradition of concluding the evening in the Music Centre lobby with a stimulating conversation with the artists, accompanied by a glass of wine and light refreshments.
